The panel discussion, “A Year Later: Dallas, Diversity, and the Women’s March”, will discuss the impact recent women’s marches have had on society and politics and how we are working towards diversity and inclusiveness within these movements. Panelists include State Representative Victoria Neave, organizer of the Dallas Women’s March, Dr. Candice Bledsoe, SMU faculty member and director of the Action Research Center, Rhetta Bowers, chair of the Dallas Women's March, Portia Cantrell, Municipal Library Board member, and attorney, Jayla Wilkerson. 

The “Our Voices” event on Saturday, March 10th at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library will offer panel discussions, a photography exhibit and the opportunity for you and others to share personal experiences marching or protesting. “Our Voices” is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
