Are you interested in getting around Dallas on a bicycle but aren’t sure where to start? Do you want to know how to safely and confidently find the best routes and ride with traffic? Do you want to improve your skills on the bike and increase your confidence as you cruise around town?  Get the knowledge you need from this fast-paced presentation on urban bicycling. No bicycle or experience is required, and the class is free and open to the public.

Learn:

  • the rules of the road and the rights of people on bicycles
  • situational awareness and reacting to common situations
  • basic principles of bicycling in traffic
  • how to find bike-friendly routes

Participants who enjoy this class are invited, but not required, to attend a second, hands-on class with BikeDFW at the cost of $35. Talk to the presenter for more information.
