Join us for the unveiling of three creative spaces located throughout the library.
2 p.m. Heritage Lab: Preserving the Past - 8th floor- An educational session on preserving and organizing photographs by library associate and nationally recognized genealogical speaker Ari Wilkins.
3:30 p.m. Fiber Arts Workroom: Sew and Grow - 4th floor- Learn how you can sew a grow bag from inexpensive and durable fabric. Participants will receive a planted grow bag to take home!
5 p.m. Story Center: Podcasting - 3rd floor- Celebrate the library's Creative Space, dedicated to sharing stories in all forms, with a live podcast recording with Dallas Geek. https://www.dallasgeekofficial.com/
6:30 p.m. After-party - 1st floor- Concert and performances with Dallas Storytelling Guild and the Indian Cultural Heritage Foundation. Drinks and snacks will be available! Drinks provided by Deep Ellum Brewing Co.
