1 on 1 dedicated help with a staff member from the Dallas Public Library. We can help you fill out applications, update your resume and find out about local resources that can help you take the next step in your career.

This is a FREE 12-week program for children 0-3 years old and their parents. The weekly in-person sessions encourage learning through play, provide strategies for positive parenting, and promote children's development.

Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome!

Imagination Playground - Big Blue Blocks

Immerse your child in an imaginative play space that they and other children create using big blue foam blocks, imagination, and cooperation. Are you intrigued? Great we hope to see you there!

Get ready for kindergarten with books, movement, rhymes and music.

Suggested ages: 3 - 6

Observe stars and see how points of light can be grouped together to form pictures. Create constellations or create your own constellations while shining an image of a constellation on a dark wall with a flashlight.

Assemble a button wind chime to hang outside a window, a balcony, or porch. 

All supplies provided. Registration requested.

Technology is a quickly changing landscape. Schedule a one-hour appointment for one-on-one assistance with basic technology problems and instruction.  

Kids are invited to come to the library for a specialized reading time. They can get to know new friends, earn reading time and activity time for SMART summer reading, and even do a craft or two. Don't miss out on the summer fun!
