Step into a new routine—one stride at a time! This monthly walking club meets every first Saturday to explore the walking trail behind Mountain Creek Library, enjoy fresh air, and connect with fellow walkers.

Practice the skills you need to be ready to read. Hear stories, sing songs, jump around, and learn! 

Suggested ages: 18 months - 3 years old.  

English Language Learning 

The Central Library hosts a creative writing club every first and third Saturday of the month!
We hope to build a supportive group that provides accountability, helps you stay motivated, and shares in the joys and woes of creative writing.

Come to the library for a 1980s-inspired photo-studio portrait. Wear your ugliest holiday sweaters, old dance costumes, acid-wash jeans, and your biggest hair! Recreate a cringeworthy photo from the past or start a new tradition.

Grab your dice and bag of tricks and stop by the Forest Green Branch Library's biweekly Dungeons and Dragons event!

Trained VITA VOLUNTEER tax filers will be on-site to help maximize your returns and check your eligibility for Earned Income Tax Credits. Remember to bring all of your important tax documents including any W-2s. 

Join us every 1st and 3rd Saturday morning from 10 AM to 11 AM for Saturday Stitchery at the Library!

Design your own comic book!

Create a comic that tells a story – decide who the main character is, then take them on a fantastic journey through the pages.  Learn storyboarding and art skills.

1 on 1 dedicated help with a staff member from the Dallas Public Library. We can help you fill out applications, update your resume and find out about local resources that can help you take the next step in your career.

This Festival will commemorate Hispanic/Latine Heritage Month and celebrate our Spanish-speaking communities and the diverse cultures that are part of the area.

Protection Planning is developing a strategy to mitigate risks that could force you to use the wealth that you have grown in ways that you didn’t intend and/or don’t want to.
