Free GED classes. All are welcome. No library card or I.D. required. Register in-person during class. 

1 on 1 dedicated help with a staff member from the Dallas Public Library. We can help you fill out applications, update your resume and find out about local resources that can help you take the next step in your career.

One on one computer related basics for those who need individual help.

Get computer, tech and career help at the library! During a one-on-one appointment, a staff member can assist you with: 

Learn the basics of computer formatting from typing, accessing the web, learning general computer software and more.

A gentle yoga class designed for older adults. All poses are done while sitting or using a chair for support, making it safe and easy for all mobility levels.

This class is in English and is for anyone who is new to using computers. No experience is needed!

On Wednesday afternoons, the auditorium is available as an Adults Only quiet space. Bring your laptop or favorite book and enjoy the silence. 

Looking for assistance setting up your resume? Unfamiliar with using a computer and want help creating an email? Then schedule for a 1 Hour One-on-One Career Launch Pad training session with one of our staff members.

Technology is a quickly changing landscape. Schedule a one-hour appointment for one-on-one assistance with basic technology problems and instruction.  

Chat with real nurses about your questions, on-topic or off! Learn about arthritis, what it is and how to manage symptoms when they appear.

In the spirit of Earth Day, we invite families to take part in an earth-loving craft. We will have materials to paint your own terracotta plant pots, kick-starting some green thumbs.
