Celebrate the Eclipse and all things Space by making Moon Rocks!
A group gathered near our flagpole and enjoyed the community and the eclipse glasses.
Bring your own picnic and blanket to the park (right outside the library's doors) and have lunch under the eclipse. NASA's website shows that the partial eclipse over Dallas begins at 12:23 p.m. and reaches totality at 1:40 p.m.
Grab a pair of Eclipse glasses and head outside to the lawn to watch the Total Solar Eclipse with friends and neighbors!

In celebration of the Eclipse we will be hosting a viewing party with safe solar telescopes and we will distribute 100 solar eclipse glasses. These glasses are sure to go fast so make sure you are on time to enjoy the fun!
