Hey Kids! Join us for a day of science projects and experiments! Several stations will be set up for you to explore the mysteries of science and learn in a fun exciting way!

AFTERSCHOOL SUPERSNACK/RECARGA TUS ENERGÍAS CON NUTRICIÓN
Refuel during the summer with a free, nutritious meal provided by Equal Heart. Open to ages 0-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.
This is a small group violin lesson which meets weekly and is open to anyone interested. Violins are available to use during lessons.
Join fellow anime fans at the library to watch a movie, eat snacks, play trivia, and talk about all things anime!
Interested in learning how to read and play music? Join Mr. Bill Smith on the fourth floor of the Central Library on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 2:00 PM.
Join us every Wednesday just for the love of art express your swag through your fingertips while sipping on tea. Have you heard of painting with a twist? Our twist is tea with the Dallas Public Library.

Lakewood Afternoon Chess Club gives kids an opportunity to play friendly games of chess against their peers in a low-stress environment. Students of all levels are welcome to come, as help is given to those who need it.
Join us for a different hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math activity every first, third and fifth Thursday of the month.
