We are excited to welcome local Asian drumming group Goisagi Daiko. Goisagi is a fast-paced taiko group from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Goisagi means Night Heron in Japanese, a bird which inspired the group.&n
Have fun reading and earning prizes. Read a page from a book, (you choose the book level), then get a prize, and also learn about organizations in your area. You will have fun participating in this event that encourages reading.
Put your personal stamp on it! Participants will create their own "stamp" that is representative of their community or themselves and use this stamp to create a card or sticker to share.
Learn how to read music, understand chord and melodic theory, and to play the piano or keyboard. Participants are encouraged to attend a weekly class, but can join at any time.
Honoring inspirational and amazing women for Women's History Month, we will celebrate women in space this week!
Interested in learning to play the violin? Join Bill Smith online Saturdays at 3 pm CST. The program will teach students the basics of playing the violin and reading music.
Interested in learning to play the guitar? Dust that guitar in the corner off and let's play some songs. You'll learn basic chords and strumming patterns, as well as a bit of music theory in the process.
