Tails and Tales: Read to Therapy Dogs - featuring Dallas
Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers.
The Family Learning Program is a companion program to Saturday English language classes. Students' children ages 6-11 will do fun, educational, and creative activities while their parents are in class.

A paint your own planter! Participants will be given a 4" terracotta planter to decorate themselves. Once the planters are decorated and dried (if necessary) staff would assist in distributing potting soil and planting a seed of choice.
