Learn to play American Mahjong!
The intent of this class is to present the basic elements of music theory beginning with rhythm, notation, scales, and intervals to children ages 6-12. Ideas will be presented through a series of fun games, worksheets and other activities.
Learn how to read music, understand chord and melodic theory, and to play the piano or keyboard. Participants are encouraged to attend a weekly class, but can join at any time.

1 on 1 dedicated computer help with a staff member from the Dallas Public Library. We can help you with your computer skills, accessing social services, connectivity, job applications, creating a resume and more.
Celebrate the mothers and mother figures special to you. Join us after school at the Arcadia Park Library to decorate a fun Mother's Day canvas bag and fill it with candy or make a pretty card to give to someone special.

A "Papel Picado" is cut-up paper, usually depicting a fun, intricate image or design! Papel Picados are a popular decoration item in Latine cultures and are a traditional Mexican Folk Art.
Children take turns reading aloud for a minute or two to the leader. They get a small prize each time they read. Great practice for struggling readers, those who need to project, and those who need to slow down.
Which animal was that? Learn how to become wildlife detectives by exploring skins, skulls, scat, and the different clues animals leave behind in nature with the Trinity Audubon Center.
Every first and third Tuesday of the month, we will host any and all young creative writers to give them a space to write and share their works with other like-minded people.
