The EarthX environmental expo is a fun and engaging event that brings environmental organizations, government agencies, speakers, experts, and more together to discuss sustainable solutions. DPL will have a booth at this event.

Our Creative Learning Room will be open six days a week for children ages 0-5 with their adults. Experience our sensory wall, life size building blocks, and a play kitchen space. Parent or caretaker supervision is required at all times.

Spring music classes for school-aged students 6-12 yrs on Wednesdays and Fridays. 

1 on 1 dedicated computer help with a staff member from the Dallas Public Library. We can help you with your computer skills, accessing social services, connectivity, job applications, creating a resume and more.

Celebrate the beginning of Spring with origami! An art of folding objects out of paper to create both two-dimensional and three-dimensional subjects!

Candle making returns! Learn candle making basics, such as wax properties and wicking. Choose from a seasonal selection of scents and pour your own candle. At the end, participants will be able to take home a 4oz container candle.

Refuel afterschool with a free, nutritious meal provided by Equal Heart. Open to ages 0-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Visit the Skyline branch every Friday from 3:30- 4:30pm and have some fun after school.  Make crafts, color, read, or make new friends!
