The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

Join the Pleasant Grove staff for this special Dia de los Muertos craft! Learn about the traditions of Dia de los Muertos all while making a special sugar skull mask to take home.

Dia De Los Muertos is a two day holiday that reunites the living and dead. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America with colorful calaveras (skulls) and calacas (skeletons).
We will be showing our appreciation to veterans worldwide by writing letters of gratitude and uplifting positive messages.
Wednesdays at 5pm will be the violin class!
