Lakewood Library welcomes Master Gardener Stephanie Smith presenting on Growing African Violets. Growing African violets is not as hard as you might think. Learn to grow these spectacular plants in a windowsill or under a grow light.

Sometimes the best part of gift giving is the presentation. But do you struggle to wrap your gifts in a way you find polished and pretty? This gift-wrapping workshop will walk you through a basic seamless wrap and a couple of bow styles.

Learn practical hand sewing skills including blind stitching holes, blanket stitch and sewing on buttons and zippers. Test those skills as you complete the monthly project.
