Each month our presenter, Stephen Scroggin, will discuss a new topic to help expand our knowledge of financial literacy. This month he will be talking on Basics Of Personal Income Taxes.

In honor of Black History Month, we will present cooking demonstrations of Soul Food, Creole Food, and other food relevant to Black history and culture.

Trained AARP VOLUNTEER tax filers will be on-site to help maximize your returns and check your eligibility for Earned Income Tax Credits.

Remember to bring all of your important tax documents including any W-2s.

Free GED preparation classes. All are welcome. No library card or I.D. required. Register in-person during class. 

One on one computer related basics for those who need individual help.

On Wednesday afternoons, the auditorium is available as an Adults Only quiet space. Bring your laptop or favorite book and enjoy the silence. 

Technology is a quickly changing landscape. Schedule a one-hour appointment for one-on-one assistance with basic technology problems and instruction.

It’s like finger-painting for grown-ups (but fancier)! Play with color, texture, and creativity in this hands-on art session. No experience needed. Supplies provided, but feel free to bring your own!

These sessions will be open-play with no instructors and you must bring your own set.

If you enjoy reading mysteries, playing detective, and guessing the endings, this is the book club for you! This book club meets twice a month and for the first meeting we read to EXACTLY halfway through the book.
