Now that spring is upon us, let’s bring some color to our local library sidewalks! We’ll provide the chalk—you bring your creativity.

🎨 What to Expect:

Crafternoon is our semi-regular craft time. Three Friday afternoons  each month, stop in to create a fun and easy age-appropriate craft for pre-school and school-age children. 

Get your blood pumping and the creativity flowing! Kid's zumba is an easy, follow-along dance class where kids can wiggle, jiggle, and go wild!

Get ready to roll into teamwork with Pass the Ball Express.  Teams must work together to pass a ball from start to finish using only curled-up pieces of paper. No hands, no trays, just teamwork.

Representatives from Girl Scouts Inc. will come present a financial literacy themed program for school age children.

Learn about fire safety in a fun and entertaining way with Dallas Fire Department's very own Sparky! This program covers home fire drills, smoke detectors, calling 911, and stop drop and roll. 

History isn’t just about the most famous names. In this program, kids will discover forgotten founders—Black patriots, women soldiers, and other heroes who helped shape early America.

Are you interested in learning to play the guitar? Swan Strings, a local musical non-profit, is here to help! Come learn how to play the guitar in this class series, especially designed for children aged 8 and up!

It's Shark Week somewhere! Learn about everyone's favorite (albeit terrifying) sea creature with presentations on shark biology, behavior, and conservation efforts. There will also be shark-themed crafts, games, and quizzes! 

Participants are invited to come and learn the basics of Chess or to spend time playing the many board games available!

All Ages Welcome, Kids 8+ preferred, Board Games available for Younger Children.
