A bright and cheerful craft activity for kids that turns simple materials into colorful window art!

Would your child like a furry, tail-wagging friend to read to? 🐾

Reading to Tails gives kids the chance to cozy up with a friendly therapy dog and share their favorite stories out loud.

Come have fun and get creative with some fun after-school crafts while getting to make new friends. 

All materials will be provided and you can take home your creations!

Get ready to soak up some science! School-age explorers will dive into a colorful STEM experiment using coffee filters and watercolor to watch capillary action in action.

Unleash your imagination at the Lakewood Branch’s Lego Hour!  This will be a dedicated hour for building whatever you’d like using Legos.  Build and chat with others as you work together or get inspiration for your own projects. 

Join us every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 PM for hands-on crafts that spark creativity and curiosity! Every week, you can color, create, and explore fun new activities.

 📚 Need a little homework help? Kids ages 6–12 can bring their questions to the library and get help from our staff.  📚

Students will draw simplified figures, usually with lines representing arms, legs, and body, and a simple circle for the head. And see how the figure moves!
