Artstillery offers a fun, interactive experience for those who are interested in sharing space and moving their bodies to invoke joy, healing and shared experiences. Join us to loosen your mind, spirit and body.

Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome! 

Practice the skills you need to be ready to read. Hear stories, sing songs, jump around and learn!

Suggested ages: 18 months - 3 years old.

For two hours every 4th Saturday every other month, stop by with your well-loved stuffed animal, maybe in need of a bit of repair, and our volunteer ESTs (Emergency Stuffing Technicians) will take a look at them.

Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers. 

The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

Survival in the wild is tough and danger lurks at every turn. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone always had your back and was looking out for you?

Come make some beachy fragranced bath bombs at the library! The featured fragrances will be "Bali Breeze", "Sea Salt and Lily", and a mystery fragrance!

This project will use plastic molds that you can take home with you.
