The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

  “Graphic medicine” refers to comics and graphic novels about people’s experiences with health and illness. In this 8-week program, you will meet 4 times with fellow community members to read graphic medicine narratives.
