Participants will get to view the solar eclipse using eclipse glasses, make a craft of the sun, moon, and earth rotations, and go outside for a solar system themed chalk mural.

The Dallas Fire Department presents Sparky the Firedog puppet to the North Oak Cliff Library to teach us about fire and water safety. Fun, interactive, and presented in a manner kids can understand.

Join us as we view the special Solar Eclipse that will pass over Texas on October 14, 2023! 

We will have the special glasses you need to view the eclipse. Remember to never look directly at the sun with the naked eye.

Don't have a pair of eclipse glasses to view the partial solar eclipse? We will be having a viewing party with crafts for the kids and free eclipse glasses for the first 300 attendees.

We will have a limited supply of viewing glasses to hand out and area in the parking lot where you can view the eclipse.
