Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers. 

The Family Learning Program is a companion program to Saturday English language classes. Students' children ages 6-11 will do fun, educational, and creative activities while their parents are in class.

The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

In celebration of Dia de Los Muertos we will host the Anita Martinez Ballet Folkorico dance group.

Learn the fundamentals of coding using Scratch, a visual programming language developed specifically for young learners. Best for ages 8 - 11.

All classes begin at 2:30 p.m. and last about an hour.
