Week Calendar

Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome! 

Join us every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month from 10:30am to 2:30pm for a come & go makers series presented by the Dallas Young Makers Club!

Learn how to:

Visit the Prairie Creek branch every Saturday from 10:00am - noon for our weekly gathering to share patterns, projects, and socialize.

Practice the skills you need to be ready to read. Hear stories, sing songs, jump around and learn! Suggested ages: 18 months - 3 years old

Grab yourself a hot cup of cocoa and get cozy for a movie! 

We will be playing a family-friendly movie to enjoy with some cookies and cocoa for this winter season. 

Have your little ones missed out on ringing in the new year in the past because midnight is way past their bed time? Come to the North Oak Cliff Library to ring in the "Noon Year".

Spend an afternoon relaxing and brushing up on your art skills with our art instructor Irving. Learn the basics of different aquamedia and how to use/maintain our many art tools until you're ready to pursue your own ideas and art pieces.

Don't know how? Knot a problem! Needles, yarn and help are all provided for beginners who want to learn.

Literary Lego is a creative workshop for school-aged children. Participants can create their own stories or a story based on books in the library.
