In this activity, you will create art using the power of sunlight and a magnifying glass. Get ready to explore the science behind focusing sunlight, by using it for creating unique designs on wood or cardboard. 

Students in grades K-5 looking for a Halloween Costume can raid the closet this September at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. The closet includes costumes in various sizes and in a wide range of costume type!

On the 4th Thursday of every month, we will have a themed Lego Challenge where we will create Lego masterpieces based on that month's theme.

Work solo or in a team and flex your imagination and creation skills!

Develop skills in geometry that allow you to recognize and build geometric shapes. How do 2D shapes become a 3D shape? Solve some problems and then create your own 3D geometric sculpture.

Calling all demigods! In honor of the release of The Court of the Dead and the upcoming release of the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Youth Discovery Center is hosting a day dedicated to Percy Jackson.

We have partnered with the Nasher Sculpture Center to dive into the collection at this local museum to highlight their works of art that celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Art activity will be provided for school age children.
