Early Saturday mornings are the perfect time for some social interaction accompanied by light physical activity. We will meet in the library parking lot, set off for path in The Village, and finish back up at the library as it opens.

Do you want to learn how to play chess?  Are you a chess enthusiast or looking for someone to play against? Then come check out Mountain Creek our Chess Club! Chess boards are provided.

Participants create their own stories or a story based on books in the library. Once stories are ready, participants can build characters or settings to bring their stories to life!

Calling all knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sewing and fiber arts enthusiasts!   Bring your projects and materials for a morning "in stitches" with other fiber craft artists.  All skill levels are welcome!

It's a Dia de Los Muertos Party at the Lakewood Library!  We'll be sewing ornaments out of felt in classic shapes with local artist Lilia Estrada and talking about other famous symbols of this popular Mexican holiday.
