Come celebrate the Oak Lawn Branch Library turning 90 with us!

Join us for the Queer Visions Film Festival as we bring together film visionaries to celebrate the power of storytelling. Our lineup features established filmmakers that share LGBTQ+ experiences through short films.

There will also be a Q&A session with special guests between each film screening.
 
 

2-2:15pm: Bloom 

2:20-2:50pm: Q&A session with creator Rex Owen Waide

Trey Vanderkamp is torn between his identity as a female, Tory Vanderkamp. After a moment of rejection, he is provoked to make the greatest transformation. Rex Owen Waide is an experimental filmmaker, exploring the shadowy areas of the heart and mind.

3-4pm: Candid Love by Kurtz Frausun

4-4:30pm: Q&A session with creator Kurtz Frausun

Award-winning film director Kurtz Frausun captures a gay couple's relationship struggles and the death of a parent, set in the backdrop of their Plano, TX apartment during a snowstorm.
