Grow with Us is a series of online sessions from the Dallas Public Library - Seed Library and Dallas Environmental Quality and Sustainability hosting expert speakers to share practical, informative, and inspirational information about growing and urban agriculture in Dallas.

Worms Reduce, Reuse, Recycle–you can too! Hard-working worms can turn your food waste into a valuable resource to safely and naturally boost your yard, garden, and potted plant in a small, indoor space without odor. Heather Rinaldi, Head Rancher with Texas Worm Ranch, will explain why you should consider vermicomposting, where you can set up worm bins, how to setup and care for worm bins and how to utilize worm castings as a cheap and easy garden amendment to improve your chances for organic garden and landscaping success. Don't be squeamish, sign up for this class!

Heather is the largest worm grower and one of the very few worm casting suppliers in the state.  Texas Worm Ranch sells their worm castings [poop] to organic gardeners as a nutrient and microbe rich soil amendment, and makes a liquid, worm casting yard and garden treatment called Worm Wine ™. Learn how Heather became a worm rancher and grew to love garbage at www.texaswormranch.com
