How much do you really know about Picasso? Get ready to change perspectives as we learn about the mind the artist who redefined how we understand form, transforming the way we see the world around us. Explore the groundbreaking style of Cubism, where reality is reimagined as a vibrant mosaic of shapes and viewpoints.
This month, we’ll uncover Picasso’s story, why his vision reshaped modern art, and how you can embrace that spirit of creative reinvention. Then, bring your imagination to life by crafting oversized, 3D self-portraits; fragmented, layered, and bursting with energy.
No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and a bold creative spark ready to reshape how you see yourself. Register now! Spots are limited.
Restroom Access Notice (12/5–2/5)
Please be aware that the Oak Lawn Branch restrooms will be closed for renovation from December 5 through February 5. Restrooms will not be available anywhere inside the branch during this time.
If you need to use a restroom, you will need to leave the library to find one elsewhere. Nearby businesses may restrict restroom use to customers only, so we strongly recommend using a restroom before you arrive for any program or event.
Leaving the building during a one-hour program may limit your ability to participate fully, as we are not able to pause or repeat program content. If you do not feel comfortable attending without a restroom available on-site for the full duration, please consider refraining from registering so that others who are able to participate under these conditions may have the opportunity to attend.
We appreciate your understanding as we complete these necessary improvements.
