Bluebonnet Book Bards

📔🪻Make your stories come alive! 🪻🎭

During our Bluebonnet Book Bard meetings, we will use Reader's Theatre scripts from TLA to make current Bluebonnet Books come alive. 

There is no rehearsal needed for our Reader's Theatre productions. For Reader's Theatre, there is no need to memorize lines since actors will keep their scripts the entire time. Additionally, they will have a few small props and costume accessories to help create their characters and stories. 

When we begin we will break up into groups, pick out of the selected scripts, and assign roles (Caregivers are encouraged to play along too). Then everyone will have time to practice reading their scripts in their groups then we will settle for our performance. 

After the performances, kids will be asked if they read the Bluebonnet book before that was performed and what they thought of the theatrical adaptation. We will also have reading trackers available to track which Bluebonnet Books they Performed and which they have read.
