Canvas y Cultura: Joan Miro

Entre al mundo vibrante del arte hispano/latine mientras aprende sobre los artistas y estilos que han impactado a la cultura hispana a través de su arte en esta nueva serie de talleres de arte. 

Este mes aprenderemos sobre el artista catalán, Joan Miró. Con su mezcla única de técnicas abstractas y surrealistas, él creo varias pinturas fantásticas que exploraban la imaginación. Tomando inspiración de estas obras, crearemos una pintura de medios mixtos trabajando con crayones y acuarelas. 

Este programa será presentado en inglés y español. Todos los materiales necesarios serán provistos de antemano. 

Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Hispanic art as we study the people and styles who have impacted Hispanic Culture through their art in this new art workshop series.

This month, we will be learning about Catalan artist, Joan Miro. With his unique blend of abstract and surrealist techniques, he created many whimsical paintings that explored the imagination. Taking inspiration from these works, we will create a mixed media painting with crayons and watercolors. 

This presentation will be presented in English and Spanish. All supplies are provided to complete this activity.
