Crafternoon every Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Forest Green Branch Library! 

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which lasts from September 15 to October 15, by crafting your own papel picado (in English: “pecked paper”). This traditional Mexican hanging decoration is made by cutting designs into multicolored tissue paper. Papel picado is displayed at a variety of special occasions and holidays, including Easter, Dia de los Muertos, weddings and quinceañeras.
