Crafternoons every Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Forest Green Branch Library!    

Celebrate women's history month with this fun and informative craft, celebrating some awesome women in history! 

Today we will celebrate the life and art of Georgia O'Keeffe by taking inspiration from her works and creating our own art piece in her style. Georgia O'Keeffe is known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. O'Keeffe has been called the "Mother of American modernism".

Today we will be using chalk pastels and drawing flowers in honor of the contributions Ms. O'Keeffe made to modern art. 

 

Supplies are provided while supplies last.
