Event Details

Crafternoons every Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Forest Green Branch Library!

Celebrating Native American Heritage Month, we are making our very own Parfleche bag. A parfleche is a Native American rawhide container that is embellished by painting, incising, or both. Today we will be making our own version out of a paper bag and learning a little more about the spiritual, and symbolic meaning these bags hold today.

This program is brought to you with thanks from the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
