Delve into the world of Sherlock Holmes, the fictional detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who used unheard of techniques to solve crimes. Each book club / SMART program will include a discussion of the assigned story and a hands-on investigation using techniques used in his stories.
Limited to 15 kids, grades 2 to 5. Registration required.
Program is funded by a Jan Stauber Grant from The Beacon Society.

This month: A Study in Scarlet (1887)
In 1887, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle first introduces the character of Sherlock in his first novel, A Study in Scarlet. This title is available, with your library card, on Hoopla. You can either choose the original format or choose the Sherlock Holmes Stories Retold for Children's version of Sherlock Holmes: A Study in Scarlet retold by Alex Woolf.
