Event Details

Afiah Bey will give the community of children an understanding of the importance of the Griot/storyteller.  A Griot (gree-o) tells the history of a people through stories, songs, rhythms, theatre, dance and visual arts.  Participants self-esteem will be enhanced as they learn and listen to stories which teach moral and values.
