Want to learn to use a sewing machine? '

Learn how to sew using a sewing machine with this fun and creative series for those just starting out or anyone needing to refresh their memory of how to sew. 
This is a series meant to be taken in its entirety. We will cover different weekly subjects about sewing machines and their usage.

To use the sewing machine, you MUST attend the first class to use the sewing machine in future lessons.
If you cannot attend and you're registered, please contact staff to schedule a time to be trained. 

Class 1: November 5 at 10:30 a.m.- Introduction to the sewing machine
Class 2: November 12 at 10:30 a.m.- First sewing project and sewing from a pattern 
Class 3: November 19 at 10:30 a.m.- Finish sewing project. Learn about and Library resources 

Whether you want to learn to sew clothes, looking for a creative outlet, or just want to learn a new skill, this beginner's course will teach you all the sewing basics. 

Sewing machines will be available at the Vickery Park Library for use IN the library, and only after proper training and forms are signed.
