Event Details

Science and Technology meet in these fun STEM programs geared towards sparking your child's imagination and critical thinking skills.
Every Tuesday we will have a new STEM themed program to bring some fun in your child's learning!

Today we will be learning about birds!

You see them on your way to school, walking in the park, and even in your backyard-- Birds are everywhere!

Come check out some cool birds and learn something new about birds at the Vickery Park Branch with the Trinity River Audubon Center in this Birding 101 program!
This program is intended for children. Jake from the Trinity River Audubon Center will lead the class in a fun interpretive presentation about bird adaptations, and then take a short walk outside for some live bird watching!

Binoculars will be provided for the duration of this program, so please register below!
Walk-ins are welcome, but a pair of binoculars won't be guaranteed without registration.

This program is provided by the Friends of the Dallas Public Library
