Free after-school meals for children up to 18 years old are available Monday-Friday from 3:30 – 4:00 pm. Meals must be consumed in the room in which they are served.

Join us every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 PM for hands-on crafts that spark creativity and curiosity! Every week, you can color, create, and explore fun new activities.

Fun for the whole family with this one of a kind experience!

Do you enjoy playing mobile games?  If so, great the Dallas Public Library has the program for you.  Visit the Lancaster-Kiest branch for ipad gaming.  During this program children can play Mario, Sonic and Racing games.

Travel to Easter Island without leaving the library! In this hands-on STEM program, kids will explore the mystery of the famous Moai statues and learn how science, engineering, and art come together to create monumental sculptures.

Ignite your child's curiosity with our hands-on STEM program designed for kids ages 6–11!

All participants must be registered individually. 

Each class features beginner level instructions in guitar by an experienced instructor. Instruments provided. Great for ages 8 - 18. For the best learning experience, students should try to attend as many sessions as possible.
