Calling all gamers! Come and meet, chat, play and challenge fellow gamers! Every Thursday we will have our gaming system available and will be hosting gaming sessions.

To prepare for May the 4th, train you must! Celebrate all things Star Wars by making lightsaber keychains and paper droids while watching space adventures, or practice in our arena to perfect your lightsaber and Bowcaster skills.

Thursdays afterschool we explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through fun and creative projects!

Recommended for ages 6 to 11 years old.

Refuel afterschool with a free, nutritious meal provided by Education PV. Open to ages 0-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Create a fun craft at the Youth Discovery Center! Each month the craft will be announced the Friday before the event!

Ignite your child's curiosity with our hands-on STEM program designed for kids ages 6–11!

Get ready to heat up creativity and let colors flow! Teens will transform crayons into vibrant, melted masterpieces using safe, hands-on techniques.

Each class features beginner level instructions in guitar by an experienced instructor. Instruments provided. Great for ages 8 - 18. For the best learning experience, students should try to attend as many sessions as possible.

Bring your craft project and socialize while you work. Portable crafts of all types welcome, electrical outlets now available. 

If you don't have a project, library staff can teach the basics of crochet! 

Craft geometric shapes and assemble them into balanced, harmonious mobiles with art instructor Sonia Medina. Inspired by the bold designs of Mexican architects Ricardo Legorreta and Luis Barragán.

Do you like reading books from a variety of genres? Want to start digging a little deeper into the books you read?

Ukulele club is for anyone aged 13 and up who wants to work on their ukulele skills, learn new songs, socialize with other musicians, and just jam out. No prior experience required. 

Are you looking for a group to craft with? Or do you want to learn a new craft? Open crafting night is for all types of arts and crafts projects. Sit together with other crafty to people to socialize and create.

Knitting, Crocheting, Textiles - oh my! Hosted once a month, the Fiber Arts Collective is a space to gather, create, discuss and learn all forms of textile/fiber arts. 

Learn practical hand sewing skills including blind stitching holes, blanket stitch and sewing on buttons and zippers. Test those skills as you complete the monthly project.
