Through a series of manipulative toys and varied activities, children's motor skills will be stimulated to help them develop these skills.

One Saturday a month we do something fun for the whole family!

Get ready for giant candy fun! The library's theater will be transformed into a life-sized Candyland game board!

For family and friend groups of all ages!

In this activity, you will create art using the power of sunlight and a magnifying glass. Get ready to explore the science behind focusing sunlight, by using it for creating unique designs on wood or cardboard. 

Slay monsters, gather treasure and go on adventures with friends old and new! Dungeons & Dragons sessions, led by Thomas Acebo, meet every second and fourth Saturday of the month. 

Link up with other teens that love to play games. Each month will feature different games and range from card games to board games to video games. 

All supplies provided, no experience required.

Decorate for the fall season with your own custom painted leaf wreath. Use fall leaves and paint pens to make a festive wreath you can hang anywhere!  

Get those weekend jitters out with this Zumba class, especially for kids! Bring water and a towel because we're about to sweat!

Paint outside the lines and unlock your creative streak with an all-access pass to artistic exploration! From paints to pastels, pencils to markers, young artists will dive brush-first into a world of imagination.

Join us on the fourth Monday each month to enjoy our selection of board games for all ages! From Candy Land to Ticket to Ride, we've got something for everyone.

Welcome to the Afterschool Club! Designed for kids 6 through 11 (though littles are welcomed too). The fourth week of every month, we will host our Lego Lounge. With Lego you can build a world of your imagination.

Bring the family for a kid-friendly movie screening. Repeats weekly. 

Join us every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 PM for hands-on crafts that spark creativity and curiosity! Every week, you can color, create, and explore fun new activities.

Spend the afternoon expressing yourself creatively by playing with LEGOs.

During our Reader's Theater, we will use scripts, masks, and props to make stories come alive. 

Enjoy a movie after school. Bring your own blanket or pillow. Small Snacks allowed.

Visit the Prairie Creek branch every week after school on Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm for a fun filled Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math activity!

Shake things up with a fun and musical craft! Kids will create and decorate their own maracas using simple materials

Come have fun and get creative with some fun after-school crafts while getting to make new friends. 

All materials will be provided and you can take home your creations!

Crafters unite! Join us at the Lakewood Library to make perler bead creations. Each month we will be making a different themed masterpiece. All skill-levels are welcome.

                                     Accept the Challenge

On the 4th Thursday of every month, we will have a themed Lego Challenge where we will create Lego masterpieces based on that month's theme.

Work solo or in a team and flex your imagination and creation skills!

Develop skills in geometry that allow you to recognize and build geometric shapes. How do 2D shapes become a 3D shape? Solve some problems and then create your own 3D geometric sculpture.
