Artificial Intelligence, or AI for short, has been used in many works of fiction and is now present in everyday life, from your AI assistant in your pocket to customer service interfaces, navigation, and autocorrect.

AI is rapidly transforming the way we interact with technology, but it also raises important ethical questions.

In this discussion, ALA AI-certified Dallas Public Library staff member Lauren Belmore will explore the impact of artificial intelligence on privacy, bias, decision-making, and society. Participants will engage in a thought-provoking conversation about AI's benefits and challenges, its role in everyday life, and the ethical responsibilities that come with its use.
