Colombian Cumbia Workshop Series

The Colombian folklore workshop will expose the extraordinary dances of the various Colombian regions with the intention of contributing to the dissemination and preservation of native dances such as Cumbia, San Juanero, Mapalé, popular rythms (such as Salsa or Merengue.) Participants will explore the rythms, gestures, movements of Colombian folklore learning the origin of each dance and its influence at a sociocultural level.

This is a 4 week workshop. While it is not necessary for participants to attend all four sessions, you'll get the most out of the workshop by attending every session.
