Event Details

Crafternoons every 1st and 3rd Tuesday, at the Skillman Southwestern Branch Library!

Celebrate Black History Month with todays fun craft and take home STEM project! Make your own peanut plant with a paper plate inspired by George Washington Carver and take home a peanut plant and watch it grow!
Carver is credited with giving us peanut butter, but he was much more influential than just that. He was instrumental in introducing sustainable farming practices to the Black farming community in the south. Wow!

Learn more about Carver and other influential black community members here!

Supplies are provided, while supplies last.
