Event Details

Celebrate Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with todays crafternoon craft of a Fabergé Egg!

Fabergé Eggs were made by goldsmith Carl Fabergé, and presented to Czars Alexander III and Nicholas II of Russia as gifts for their wives, known as the Imperial Fabergé Easter eggs. Of the 50 Imperial eggs, only 43 are known to have survived. Each Fabergé egg is custom made of precious metals or hard stones decorated with combinations of enamel and gemstones.

Today we will be recreating your own version of these finely decorated and bejeweled eggs.
