Event Details

DID YOU KNOW? Household leaks left unchecked can cause about 10,000 gallons of water to be wasted per year. In honor of Fix a Leak Week, an annual program by the Environmental Protection Agency, we will be hearing from City of Dallas professionals who work day after day to help residents save water in and around their homes. We’ll be learning about outdoor systems from William Bosland, an irrigation specialist with 23 years of experience. Attendees will also have a chance to learn about indoor plumbing from Robert Revillas, Senior Inspector General who has been performing inspections with the city since 2017. Both pros will also share information about the free Water Conservation programs available to qualifying residents.

Earth Day Every Day is a series of environmental education sessions continuing with the Earth Day theme and bringing expert speakers, special program topics, and a reminder that every day is Earth Day. Presented by Dallas Environmental Quality and Sustainability (DEQS; Green Dallas). These topics empower Dallas residents to make sustainable choices that improve the quality of life for everyone in Dallas and the world.
