Build your super knowledge about the seven species of friendly reptiles that call ponds near you and the Trinity River home! Get an up close view of your favorite shelled freshwater friends as our special guest, Chris, shows you the difference between tortoises and turtles. Learn how they survive in our waterways and what you can do to keep their homes clean!

To participate in a craft have the following items near you!

  • A paper plate
  • Brown and green construction paper OR plain paper and a brown and green marker
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • And maybe even an adult to help!
