Flash Fundraiser at Midgard Tattoo Company (Walk-In Only)

Celebrate Library Card Signup Month and support the library for an unforgettable day of art, freedom, and community at the Flash Fundraiser! Hosted and sponsored by the talented artists at Midgard Tattoo Company and Valkyrie Tattoo Gallery, this unique fundraiser will directly support Dallas Public Library's mission to promote access to literature for all.

On September 27 and 28, from 12 to 8 p.m., we're bringing together the power of ink and the importance of open shelves. Choose from an array of specially designed bookish flash tattoos, everything a literary rebel could desire! 

How It Works:

• Flash Tattoos: Select from a variety of pre-drawn designs available exclusively for this event. Iconic banned books and literary themes inspire each design.
• Pricing:  All flash tattoos will be offered at a special event price. A portion of every tattoo cost will be donated directly to the Dallas Public Library.
• Walk-ins Only: This event will be walk-ins only, and will be first come, first served. Tattoos will be done in group sessions. The goal will be to see 10 clients every half hour for both days.

In addition to the tattooing, you can sign-up for a library card, and enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie with fellow book lovers. We will have book trivia run by staff from Dallas Public Library. We will also be hosting a book swap, so please bring a book that you would love to share with someone else, or be ready to give a different book a new home! By participating, you'll get a beautiful piece of art and support the library's efforts to ensure everyone in our community has access to a world of knowledge.
