Grow with Us - Real Christmas Trees

It’s the holiday season and if you have been wanting the experience of cutting your own Christmas tree for your home décor and enjoyment, we will learn all about it. Join Donna and Duane Patrick from Sunset Hill Tree Farm located in Alvarado, the oldest city in Johnson County, to learn about their unique business centered around cultivating Christmas trees.  It all began with a family farm, and Duane will share some of his story. The farm features beautiful trees, a mini-farmers market with veggies and eggs, a wide-range of outdoor activities, plus a vineyard.  “Families that farm together stay together” is one of their mottos, and families and friends who celebrate the holidays together create memorable times.
