Event Details

Know Your City is a 3-part series all about how the City of Dallas works. The series will present basic information about city council, service requests, and zoning. This is designed to provide essential information about city departments and offer residents the opportunity to ask questions. This program will be hybrid, meaning you can attend in person or online. 

City Council Structure:

This week we are discussing how the City Council is structured. The subject will discuss the duties of the Mayor, City Council Members and City Manager. Presenters will also discuss why it's important to attend city council meetings and participate in municipal elections. There will be time for questions after the presentation.
