Summer STEM

This Summer we are having a workshop for components of STEM. 

Science STEM- Glow in the Dark Paint-A-Long 

June 5th 2p - 3pm 

During this class, we will do a simple painting with only black lights on! We will learn why Glow-in-the-Dark Paint reacts under a blacklight and do a final reveal under full light at the end. 

Technology STEM- Under the Microscope

June 12th 2p - 3pm

We are going microscopic for this class we will be comparing digital and physical microscopes and finding out what things look like up close. 

Engineering STEM- Solar Houses

July 10th 2p - 3p

Have you ever wanted to design your dream house? This program is for you, we will be constructing paper houses with a solar panel on the roof to charge the LED node lights inside. 

Math STEM- Jumbo Math Games

July 31st 2p - 3p

We already know that games are fun, but did you know that you practice your math skills with games like Yahtzee, Farkle, and Dominoes? Be prepared for giant-sized fun as well we have all of these games and more in giant versions to play. 

Please note that parents are required to stay with their children at all times and that supplies are on a first come first serve basis. Registration is highly encouraged, to be updated on any details or emailed resources following the programs.
