Straight from Abuela's recipe book, these meals will make your mouth water.
Directamente del recetario de Abuela, estas comidas te harán la boca agua.

"Like Abuela Made" brings together Latinx staff and guests to discuss and share the foods they grew up with. By the end of this series, we will have a downloadable cookbook with recipes from all over submitted by City of Dallas staff and residents. 
"Como Hizo Abuela" reúne al personal y a los invitados latinx para discutir y compartir los alimentos con los que crecieron. Al final de esta serie, tendremos un libro de recetas descargable con recetas del personal y residentes de la Ciudad de Dallas.

Jessica, a programming specialist with the library, will be making her favorite summertime drink, Horchata! She will even be putting a fall spin on it for everyone today!
Jessica, una especialista en programación de la biblioteca, preparará su bebida de verano favorita, ¡la horchata! ¡Incluso le dará un giro otoñal a todos hoy!

This program is brought to you by the Dallas Public Library in partnership with the City of Dallas' Hispanic Association of City Employees for Results (HACER). The program will be held via Zoom and will be online only.  All registrants will receive an email from Humanities@dallascityhall.com with the program link and details day of the program, about 30 minutes before the program's start.
